The Datalogic/Datasensor S5-5-D15-30 (S55D1530), Part Number G5210430, is from the S5 series, designed for a nominal sensing distance of 15mm. It operates based on diffuse reflection (medium distance, up to 600mm) with a tubular M18 axial optic.

The sensor functions with a fixed focus beam and offers NPN/PNP output types with dark/light selection. It has a fast response time of 1 millisecond and operates within an operating voltage range of 10 to 30VDC.

This sensor features LED indicators (green for power ON) and a quick time delay before availability, taking less than 200ms to initialize. It is constructed with durable materials like plastic ABS/PMMA and complies with EMC compatibility standards EN 60947-5-2.
