The Panasonic GX-H8A Inductive Proximity Sensor (UGXH8A, GXH8A) offers a maximum operation distance of 2.5 mm and a stable sensing range of 0 to 2.1 mm. It reliably detects standard sensing objects like 15 — 15 — t 1 mm iron sheets with hysteresis of 20% or less. The sensor operates efficiently with a supply voltage of 12 to 24 V DC and a current consumption of 15 mA or less.

Operating within a supply voltage range of 12 to 24 V DC ± 10%, the GX-H8A sensor consumes a current of 15 mA or less, optimizing energy efficiency. Equipped with an NPN open-collector transistor output, it can sink a maximum current of 100 mA and operates with an applied voltage of 30 V DC or less. Its output operation is normally open, falling under the utilization categories DC-12 or DC-13, while the maximum response frequency of 500 Hz ensures swift response to sensing events.
