The Panasonic EX-F1 Photoelectric Sensor, model UEXF1, adheres to EMC and RoHS directives, making it suitable for detecting liquids within transparent resin pipes. It supports outer diameters of 6 to 13 mm and a wall thickness of 1 mm. Operating on a 12 to 24 V DC supply with a tolerance of ±10% ripple, the sensor consumes 30 mA or less. Its NPN open-collector transistor output handles up to 100 mA sink current, maintaining a residual voltage of 1 V or less at this load. Output operation is switchable between Light-ON (Liquid-absent-ON) and Dark-ON (Liquid-present-ON). It includes built-in short-circuit protection. The response time is 2 ms or less.

Constructed with a polycarbonate enclosure, the sensor includes nylon tying bands and silicone anti-slip tubes for secure installation. It features a 1 m long, 0.1 mm² 3-core cabtyre cable, extendable up to 50 m with appropriate cabling. The sensor™s net weight is approximately 15 g, and its gross weight is about 60 g.
