Product Description

The Panasonic PM-L45 Photoelectric Sensor, designated by Product Number PM-L45 and Part Number PML45, conforms to CE Marking Directives including EMC and RoHS. The PM-L45 sensor offers a fixed sensing range of 6 mm (0.236 in). It can detect opaque objects as small as 0.8  1.2 mm (0.031  0.047 in). The sensor provides hysteresis of 0.05 mm (0.002 in) or less. Additionally, it offers repeatability of 0.01 mm (0.0004 in) or less.

This sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 5 to 24 V DC with 10% ripple tolerance, consuming a current of 15 mA or less. Its output is equipped with an NPN open-collector transistor capable of handling a maximum sink current of 50 mA and an applied voltage of 30 V DC or less. It offers two output options: Light-ON and Dark-ON, with integrated short-circuit protection.

In terms of environmental robustness, the Panasonic PM-L45 Photoelectric Sensor is designed for harsh conditions, with an operating temperature range of -25 to +55  (-13 to +131 ) and storage conditions spanning from -30 to +80  (-22 to +176 ).
