The Panasonic GX-F15A Proximity Sensors, Part Number: UGXF15A has a maximum operation distance of 5 mm ± 8%.It features a stable sensing range of 0 to 4.2 mm. It reliably detects standard sensing objects like iron sheets measuring 20 — 20 — 1 mm. The sensor ensures hysteresis of 20% or less of the operation distance. Furthermore, it guarantees repeatability of 0.04 mm or less along and perpendicular to the sensing axis.

Operating on a supply voltage of 12 to 24 V DC ± 10/-15%, the GX-F15A consumes 15 mA or less. It utilizes an NPN open-collector transistor output. The output supports a maximum sink current of 100 mA and an applied voltage of 30 V DC or less. The residual voltage is 2 V or less at a 100 mA sink current.
